How God Can Be Cognized. Book 2. Autobiographies of the Disciples of God

February 11, 2016

Anna Zubkova

“One can traverse this infinitely long Path
during one single life if one concentrates one’s own will
solely on this purpose”.

Elizabeth Haich [27]

Instead of an Introduction

I would love to write a book about Vladimir Antonov — the spiritual Master, who has devoted his life, the life of a scientist, — to the research and analysis of the whole world of religious and esoteric experience. He himself has overcome the whole path to the cognition of God the Father in his Abode and has attained Mergence with Him. He wrote dozens of books on this topic. He has developed the methodology of the Straight Path leading to the cognition of the Creator — giving us clear and steady steps, allowing those, who have chosen God as their only Goal, as the highest meaning of their life, and as their only Love, — to follow this Path and succeed.

But I don’t have the abilities and skills to write a book about him, I can only tell you how I went myself up the steps of this Path, how I fell, got up and continued. I will try to tell you about what a great pleasure it was — to cognize God, what a great happiness it is — to love God! I will try to demonstrate, by the examples of my own life, — how gently and carefully God leads those, who are giving their trust to Him.

But everything that I have understood, comprehended and done on this Path, was done under the sensitive, tender, and sometimes almost unnoticed guidance coming from Vladimir Antonov.

Acting in the best Indian traditions, I should dedicate my work to the “lotus feet of my Guru”… But the “lotus feet” are shod in worn-out running shoes and rubber boots, worn windbreaker at summer and no less worn quilted jacket at winter are his monk’s garment. Behind his shoulders — a backpack. He goes and leads those, who can and want to go with him, those, for whom the Love of God became an inextinguishable need to approach Him, to merge with Him, those, for whom it became the unique purpose, of this life on earth…

I can only tell you how it happened and how it occurred to me…

* * *

My perception of Vladimir in the first months of apprenticeship consisted of a mixture of love, awe, almost fear and an infinite gratitude for the miracle of being able to perceive the living reality of God that he gave us. Even now, many years later, after the fear and the awe gave place to the surprisingly close, kinship relations, such as those that are formed between us and our non-incarnate Divine Teachers, — it still has not became usual and ordinary.

His soft, smooth flowing manner of speaking, of moving — was strikingly different from anything I’ve ever seen. It wasn’t at all a slowness or sluggishness! But that, manifesting as words and movements, was only a small part of his being, giving the opportunity to the incredible power of Peace to rise from the Depths and affect us.

He explained — not only by words, and we perceived — not only with our minds. We studied — as consciousnesses at once…

The long-term habit of living in the body — as a body — needed a radical change. And Vladimir knocked patterns of behavior and thinking, inherent in us, — by an inimitable manner to joke, with bright examples taken from the life of wildlife and people and with unexpected turns of meditations…

Vladimir always succeeded in making our life harmoniously filled: with great meditations and deep dissolving peace, with beauty and harmony of nature, with fun and jokes and new variants of service to God…

Beauty

January 8, 2016

2-karelian-isthmus-21

The ability to attune oneself to the tender Beauty is one of the important conditions for successful spiritual growth.

This is necessary not only for esthetical but also for ethical self-transformation in accordance with those precepts (ethical principles) that God suggests us through His Messiahs-Avatars. (You can read about this in detail in such books as [6]). Yet it is essential not only to read about this and agree with the correctness of these principles of conduct, thinking, and emotional reaction, but also to apply them to oneself, transforming oneself as a soul in accordance with them.

The best way to achieve this is to work persistently with the relevant texts: to read them many times, to copy for oneself the most important — on the current stage of development — principles, to discuss these topics with like-minded friends with the analysis of concrete life situations.

Later it is greatly advisable to read again and again the entire list of precepts: in this case, we have a possibility to notice what we did not notice before. One of our properties is that we perceive each subsequent, deeper layer of information only when we have assimilated the previous ones.

Let us understand that a person who possesses strong egocentrism and lives in the emotions of anger, irritation, condemnation, as well as envy, jealousy, fear, and depression, does not have any chances to advance significantly on the spiritual Path.

… It is said about some people: “Beautiful soul!” What does this mean?

This means that such people have developed themselves as spiritual hearts and live now without the above mentioned negative emotions. They are humble, not violent, never rude, calm and energetic at the same time. They give others the emotions of their heart love, they are kind, ready to help those who need help, keep what they said, reliable.

These qualities of the soul are greatly appreciated not only by the people around them but also by God. And such incarnate people are those who are accepted by Holy Spirits and Messiahs as their closest disciples. God takes care of them before all others, and that is why they can advance successfully and quickly towards the Perfection.

But how to achieve this state?

Apart from what was said about the work with the sacred texts, it is necessary, first and foremost, to develop oneself as a spiritual heart.

The given topic was the foundation of the ancient Christian tradition known as Hesychasm [7]. It also constituted the essence of all other true religious traditions.

After all, what is, for example, true Christianity? This is the Teachings of Jesus Christ, which do not consist in the participation in some rites of supposed “salvation” or in praying to someone so that this person can get the forgiveness of one’s sins from God! Jesus Christ never taught this! On the contrary, the Teachings of Jesus explain how one can perfect oneself so as to become truly Perfect, Divine, so as to become a Christ, that is, an incarnate Representative of the Creator on the Earth, coessential to Him!

Let me repeat this thought more concisely: Christianity is the Teachings of Jesus Christ about how to become a Christ!

Jesus put it plainly: be perfect as your Heavenly Father is perfect (Matthew 5:48), and learn this from Me (Matthew 11:29)!

He also spoke about the methodology of such self-perfection: God is Love (John 4:16), and therefore to approach the Divine Perfection, we should develop mainly the aspect of Love in ourselves! (See more details in [6,7]).

The same, but with slightly different words, was taught by all Divine Teachers: strive — through love, first of all — to develop yourselves in order to cognize the Creator of all that exists in the material world and, after achieving the Perfection, flow into Him [6]!

Could it happen that, having read about the possibility of reaching the state of Christ, many weak-minded and other mentally deficient people would start to insist that they have already become Christs?

This is why, among other purposes, it is necessary to explain how and by what efforts these heights of the Perfection are reached! It should be done in order to reduce the number of such “Christs”!

… There is a wise saying of Socrates: Cognize yourself — and then you will cognize the whole world!

Yes, it is crucial to understand one’s own place in the universe and the meaning of one’s life within the Evolution of the Universal Consciousness [6,7,10,11 and others]…

Yet this knowledge comes, among other ways, through the work with certain structures of one’s own organism. And this is not only the brain, which should be bioenergetically clean and function properly, but also the chakras, first of all, the chakra anahata and the spiritual heart that grows inside it and then from it [7].

Only if we understand all this, we can develop ourselves as souls (or consciousnesses) effectively!

Sometimes a spiritual heart develops even if a person does not know about this energy structure. Such conditions are created, above all, during a harmonious matrimony and upbringing children. Yet this is true, mainly for those who are incarnated in female bodies. If, on the contrary, we see heartiness in a man, this is the result of his successful past incarnation in a female body or of the use of special spiritual practices.

There are special techniques for the development of a spiritual heart [7]. They are really effective, but only for those who truly strive for spiritual growth and want to be pleasant and useful for God and people of Good.

I already have told in some of my books about my ancient acquaintance, a psychologist by his education and profession. The principal and probably the only method of his “psychological” influence on other people was to shout at them and flood them with the emotions of his hatred.

I taught him the techniques for “opening” of the spiritual heart, and then one night he telephoned me, waking me up, and insisted that he should come to me immediately… Having come, he told me that he, as always, had been waiting at the bus stop for a bus to take him home. Suddenly he had seen some people approaching the bus stop. “In such cases,” — he said, — “I always hated them! But this time I, all of a sudden, felt that… I loved them! What is it? ¿Is this how your methods work?”

I explained to him that this is what every one should strive for: for the “opening” and further development of heart love!

However, I could not help him: he played this “psychological” game and preferred to return to his former way of life. This is how he chose a path to hell for himself, since hell is the place filled with those who hate…

On the contrary, those for whom God is dear, God Who is Love, choose for themselves the path to paradise and then — to the Creator, to His Abode!

… Love and Beauty are closely intertwined!

The Creator made His Creation in such a way that we can choose what to strive for: for the coarse, dull, or ugly — or for the objects of the subtle Beauty.

Those who strive for hell have chosen the former.

Those who esteem Beauty, Love, and God — perfect themselves on the Path towards the Creator, on the Path of the cognition of Him and Mergence with Him. And He is the Supreme Beauty!

… At the same time, we need to take into account that the beings of hell sometimes affirm that the path chosen by them leads to paradise… And that the Beauty is the “intrigues of the devil” attracting us to hell…

The notions about God are also completely perverted among such people. For them God is a terrifying Judge Who punishes with the suffering of hell.

In reality, God is the Supreme and Perfect Love!

However, only those who have cognized Him can know this for sure. And they affirm: yes, this is really so!

Those Who have flowed into Him manifest Themselves for the worthy ones as Holy Spirits, and They recount how They walked to the Perfection by the Path of Love and Beauty! [6]

* * *

So, how can those who already have “opened” their spiritual hearts continue to master the Beauty?

At the first stage, the principal method can be the attunement to isolated objects of Beauty. These can be beautiful souls incarnated in beautiful bodies, relevant works of art, including erotic ones, as well as some animals and plants. They necessarily should lead to the refinement of the consciousness, since God — in the Aspects of the Creator and Holy Spirits — is the Subtlest of all that exists!

During emotional attunement to the beautiful and subtlest objects and phenomena, we assimilate the qualities that they have.

On the contrary, when we attune to the coarse, we — voluntarily or not — become coarser as souls.

So, let those who want to advance on the spiritual Path, the Path to God, look, to help themselves, for the objects of Beauty in spite of the yells and threats of the servants of hell!

And let us become gradually a part of this Beauty during such meditative trainings!

The further growth on this Path is achieved through the same attunement to the objects of Beauty each time bigger in size. For example, instead of one flower, which grows in a meadow, let a whole meadow of beautiful flowers, with their fragrance, with butterflies and the singing of birds, meadow illuminated with the rays of the rising, tender, morning sun, be the object for such an attunement!

One, as a soul, can not only merge with this tenderness, but also learn to hold it on one’s own arms of love, which come out from the spiritual heart and which are coessential to it!

A soul (or consciousness) has the ability to grow quantitatively, but such growth is correct only if it is performed by the spiritual heart. This the only way of traversing the Straight Path to the Creator!

Let me stress once again that the development of the arms of the consciousness — arms of the spiritual heart — is crucial! This allows one to learn to experience oneself in the subtle and subtlest eons of the multidimensional space and move from one eon to another — up to the Abode of the Creator. This movement is realized with the help of the immaterial arms that have been grown to a great size.

After mastering the functions of the arms of the consciousness, we can, among other things, correct the bioenergetic defects in our own bodies (and in the bodies of other people), healing them.

* * *

Let us not kill flowers, tearing them off or cutting them in order to contemplate their slow dying in a vase or in a jar filled with water!

Or, maybe, we think that by giving someone a bouquet of flowers we do good to that person?

No! The dying flowers create quite unfavorable energy fields of death. These fields cause real harm to the health and spiritual advancement of those who find themselves inside them! And the bigger a bouquet, the more intensive such an influence is.

Our love-compassion should embrace all forms of life, including plants: we should not cause them unjustified harm!

* * *

Beauty is not just a property of the external, relative to us, objects. We ourselves — as souls — should become the objects of Beauty!

For this it is not enough only to have an “opened” chakra anahata.

The Purity and Beauty should be in emotions, thoughts, and acts!

If we have learned to live in the chakra anahata and look from it at the surrounding world, then it is easy to master the complete control over our emotions! We just need not to forget to control our state: when the slightest manifestations of undesirable emotions appear in us, we just make little effort so as to move, with the concentration of the consciousness, into the anahata — and inner calm and love are restored!

How to learn this? For this, we have created and published many times the system of psychic self-regulation, the base of which is the purification and development of the chakras and main meridians! [7 and others]

… We are surrounded by a multitude of people who live constantly in dirty emotions of condemnation, hatred, and disdain for others. These are people of guna tamas, i.e. those who chose for themselves a path to hell — the “rubbish heap” of the process of the Evolution of the Universal Consciousness.

Such people can also be called as dirty souls.

This is clear enough. However, let us look at ourselves and ask ourselves: do I still have an ability to be in such emotions? Am I capable of being in these states even for a short time, for example, by allowing myself to be influenced by someone’s dirty opinion?

If yes, could it mean that some part of me as a soul remained dirty? After all, only a dirty (to this or that degree) soul can maintain and generate dirty emotions!

It is also necessary to watch over one’s own thoughts, since the respective emotions appear as a result of light and bad thoughts. A surplus concentration of thoughts on someone’s incorrect acts or qualities results in leaving the state of love and loosing the quality of beauty of the soul.

Nevertheless, we should learn to distinguish the emotions of condemnation — and the critical valuation of these or those phenomena, including the qualities and acts of concrete people. It is essential to develop in oneself the ability to distinguish the true and the false! Without this, one cannot choose a right path for oneself!

Thoughts and emotions determine, to a considerable extent, our acts.

It is not right to live and act according to the principle “I want!” or “I don’t want!”, yielding to one’s own primitive reflexes! We must dedicate our lives to the realization of our higher predestination [6,11] and serve as an example of this for other people.

By the way, the illustration of the mass subjugation of people to the vice of gluttony is an alimentation by the bodies of animals.

Humans, by their biological nature, are not predators. However, many people — by their own will or in imitation of others — make themselves predators, and this becomes the cause of their evolutionary degradation. After all, there is no possibility to obtain the Beauty of the Great Soul (Mahatma), causing unjustified suffering and death to other beings! Killings out of selfish motives are incompatible with Love and Beauty of the soul!

* * *

Sometimes people object, saying that we need protein food! Yes, they are right, but we can obtain all necessary to us amino acids (components of proteins) from dairy products and bird’s eggs. Mushrooms, nuts, and products made from soybeans are also rich in proteins. A variety of these products, as well as of many others, including cereals, tomatoes, and vegetables, introduced into the nutrition, provides us with a delicious and healthy diet both for the soul and body. The author of this article has been eating in this way for forty years already and has excellent health! (Now I am almost 70).

I can also mention that not all adults digest milk well. This is because the human organism with age stops generating the ferments necessary to process some components of milk. In this case, yes, it makes sense to stop drinking milk.

Moreover, it is necessary to take into account that in the food industry powdered milk is added to many kinds of confectionery (some sorts of cookies, of chocolate), as well as in the majority of mayonnaises, and this can cause problems with digestion. Therefore, it would be correct to examine the composition of such products before buying them.

Bird’s eggs should be excluded from the nutrition, but only at the higher stages of the meditative trainings.

* * *

As we perfect ourselves, the vast landscapes — of many kilometers — mountain, forest, steppe, and water ones — can become the objects for our emotional attunement…

Thus, gradually, provided that we adhere to pure (sattvic) nutrition and follow the principle of not causing any kind of unjustified harm to other beings, including plants, we (as souls) grow as the Beauty!

… Later we will be able to merge with the Beauty of Holy Spirits. After all, this is the Beauty of God Himself!

Only those who are ethically pure and refined as the developed souls up to the level of the subtlety of Holy Spirits develop the ability to perceive Them. To do this, it is also necessary to grow as a consciousness up to a great size, since the capacity of the consciousness depends on this.

… They all are beautiful! Among Them there are the representatives of both sexes. This, as a general rule, is determined by the sex of the body during the last incarnation. Each One of Them is Perfect Love, although Each One also has His or Her own tinges of Love. You can try to familiarize yourselves with this phenomenon with the help of a series of photographs, taken by us, of the Mahadoubles of Holy Spirits on their “working sites” (http://highest-yoga.info/gallery/ru/index.html).

All of Them, as Consciousnesses, can merge into One, forming the United We. Yet They also can manifest Their Perfect Individuality when realizing concrete deeds on the Earth.

That incarnate person who has become worthy of it can also merge with Them — first with One of Them individually and then with the United We.

Their Perfect Divine Beauty is superior to any terrene and paradisiacal one!

It is real to submerge forever into Their Beauty and Bliss! And now we know how to achieve this!

… Holy Spirits, as well as the Consciousnesses of the Messiahs (or Avatars), are seen as white and transparent light, which can include goldish or (rarely) pink tinges, and sometimes scarlet ones.

The intensity of Their luminosity is determined by the power of Their Intention manifested in a given moment. It can be deep Transparent Calm (called Turiya state) or, on the contrary, Divine Fire (manifested sometimes as the Sun of God). [7,10,11]

On a scale of the universe, Turiya state can be compared with Infinite and Eternal Ocean of Calm with Fire Inclusions inside It. These Inclusions appear where there are inhabited planets and where the intensive Process of the Evolution of the Universal Consciousness goes.

In order to become totally Perfect, it is necessary to master all these states, know how to act from them, and many other things.

The “seas” of Divine Fire can be created not only by concrete Holy Spirits, but also by Their United We. These are the Supreme Manifestations of Beauty! This is the Tenderest Flame That takes into Its Bliss the worthy ones!

However, this Fire is unbearable for the people of vice.

Let those who love God strive to approach It — step by step, stage after stage — in order to become It and, from the United We of all the Perfect Ones, help to the development of those who evolve in the material bodies on the Earth and on other planets.

* * *

A person develops himself or herself according to the three main directions: intellectual, ethical, and psychoenergetical. While doing this, he or she masters the main qualities of God: Love, Wisdom, and Power.

Beauty, tenderness, and subtlety of an individual consciousness are some of the facets of Love and should be mastered by every one.

The Basic Principles of Teaching Psychic Self-Regulation to Children and Adolescents

November 27, 2015

Our experience accumulated in various forms of teaching psychic self-regulation to children and teenagers allows us to formulate the following recommendations:

1. Dedicated ethical work, which every instructor must do on the background of teaching psychic self-regulation, must lay the foundation of ethics in students.

2. Groups of students can be formed either of children only or can include adults as well. In the latter case, the program is created for children, but parents willingly participate in such classes. One of the advantages of the second option is that it creates common interests in such families and helps to overcome separation between the parents and children.

3. One should not teach children and adolescents the exercises of work with the reflexogenic zones of the emotional-volitional sphere* (some basic exercises with the anahata can be an exception) if there are no special medical indications for this. The reason for this is that these exercises are not compatible with alcohol consumption during or after the course. One cannot be sure that children and teenagers will observe this rule in the future.

4. The emphasis in this work has to be put not on achievement of high results, but mainly on broadening the students’ horizons, on informing the students in order to help them to choose their way of life when they grow up.

Enrich the classes with aesthetics and sports!

One can supplement them with choreography, music, photography, paintings, tourism, ecology, literature, philosophy — depending on the field of competence of the instructor.

One can also enrich the classes of different profiles with the elements of psychic self-regulation.

5. One should not teach shavasana to children younger than 12 years, because some children have difficulties coming out of deep relaxation. (Exceptions from this rule are allowed only in case of medical indications. Such sessions must be conducted by a certified physician.)

6. There can be exercises of work with the reflexogenic zones of the emotional-volitional sphere and other similar methods used by trained physicians to treat neurological and psychiatric disorders in children. It is especially effective for correcting social disorders.

7. Most easily children and teenagers master exercises with mental images. Mastering the concentration is usually more difficult for them. However, training them in concentration is especially important for their progress in the school. Very helpful in this respect is to exclude “killed” food (i.e. made of bodies of killed animals) from children’s diet, and at the same time to increase the amounts of proteins found in milk and eggs. The same recommendation is useful in every respect for all people without exception.

8. An interesting positive effect can be achieved if children are present (but do not participate on equal rights) on out-of-town classes of groups where their parents study. If there is no obtrusive attitude towards them, children turn on the important mechanism of training — imitation. They learn a careful attitude towards nature, as well as towards any manifestation of life; they master skills of life in a tent, building a fire and preparation of food on it, learn discipline (waking up early in the morning, morning exercises, morning bathing, etc.), learn to see the beauty of nature and attune to it, easily master exercises for tempering the body, for example, they insist on participation in winter swimming together with adults [6,9].

Regarding the practice of winter swimming for children, let me note the following: this method helps to increase the range of temperatures comfortable for the body for the whole life; it “tempers” the body. Yet it must be used under the following conditions:

a) fully voluntary attitude of the child, with no persuasion from adults: the children themselves know best when they are ready for it;

b) favorable emotional state of all present adults;

c) making no attempts to treat with winter swimming (as well as with showers of cold water) children who are weakened by prolonged illnesses. Winter swimming as a medical procedure is effective for treatment of some local disease processes in those children who are generally in good health. The healing mechanism in this case is bioenergetic stress in response to “cold impact”. But if the body is weakened by a prolonged illness, then it has no energy which can turn on the needed process. In such cases, the opposite is effective — for example, hot baths or saunas.

Why Children Are Different?

November 23, 2015

Two children come to mind.

Once I was invited to a party. There were many people, including families with children: some kind of celebration was going to take place.

I was sitting on a sofa. A baby climbed onto the sofa, crawled up to me and kissed me on my cheek — so sincerely, strongly! He poured his love all over me! He kissed me with such a cordial love! If I had not been familiar with his biography, I would have thought that he was a student of our School, because I had never seen such children outside of our School!

And I knew another child. I met him several times in the streets of Saint Petersburg. He was probably five years old. His eyes had a look of hatred — eerie, piercing look of hatred for everything and everyone. Moreover, this look and this demonic state were inherent in him.

I met him for the first time when he was stealing a hat from one of his peers. Our eyes met; he flooded me with his hatred — and ran away.

Second time I saw him scratching someone’s car with his knife. Again our eyes met, and again it was the same hatred — and again he ran away.

These are two extremes.

I heard the idea that all children are little angels, that we must become like children and so on. Like what children?

When Jesus said “become like children”, He meant the very specific quality of the best children — “openness of the soul”; this is clear both from the context of the New Testament’s Gospels (Matt 18:3, Mark 10:15; Luke 18:17) and from apocryphal Gospels. He called His listeners “to open”, “to undress” themselves as souls before each other and before God — in emotional love!

Jesus meant good, gentle, sincere children. Some children, however, are malicious, rude, extremely egoistic, deceitful, looking at other people as caged wild animals look.

Why are children so different?

Materialistic science has been studying this problem for decades. Different scientists, depending on the profile of their work, emphasize different factors that influence the psychic development of children.

Geneticists talk about the role of genes, that the character traits are allegedly transmitted by genes in the same way as the color of the eyes and hair, or other body characteristics.

Embryologists, obstetricians, and perinatologists look for the cause in how the formation of the brain structures of the fetus was influenced by hormones, mother’s stress, hypoxia, birth traumas, and various intoxications.

Psychologists and psychiatrists address various social factors, primarily the character of the child’s contact with the mother at certain “critical” stages of its development. For example, it has been clearly demonstrated in the studies of children as well as in experiments on animals that a lack of harmony in the relationships with the mother at a certain age leads to excessive aggressiveness in the later years. Additionally, the social disorders may be caused by a lack of adequate contact with peers during childhood. [6]

Commenting on this, I want to note that all these factors indeed play a certain role.

Genetic influences may take place — through genetically determined features of the development and functioning of the hypothalamus-hypophysis-adrenal system. If this system can produce and release into the blood more of adrenaline and noradrenaline, such organisms turn out to be more active in regular and extreme conditions. It may also create a certain predisposition (not predetermination) to excessively aggressive character traits.

And, of course, different factors causing damage to the fetus can lead to distortions in the development of different areas of the brain and endocrine glands, thus affecting one’s emotional characteristics in adulthood in different ways.

Different brain structures, responsible for different functions, are formed during embryogenesis at different times, and every one of them is most vulnerable to damaging factors during this critical time of their formation. Therefore the same damaging factor applied to the fetus at different times of its development leads to formation of different distortions, which sometimes get manifested only in adulthood. [56]

The social factor also has a great importance in younger ages. For instance, if the child suffers negative emotional stresses due to separation from the mother or from the person who substitutes for her at the age from 6-7 months to 3 years — then in adulthood such a person manifests psychopathic traits, including excessive aggressiveness. Significant emotional and behavioral problems also occur because of the absence of adequate (that is, natural) contact with peers in childhood. [6]

Yet the most important reason for the difference between children is not known in the modern materialistic science. It consists in the fact that not only bodies are different but the embodied souls as well. After all, souls incarnated in children’s bodies have been “adults” before; the majority of them — many times. They come with character traits and other characteristics developed in their past history.

This applies not only to human beings but also to animals. And this explains why in experiments on animals as well as in human studies the same damaging influence does not lead to the same result for different species.

Imagine, for example, two persons. One of them in the past life was already holy, and the other one was diabolic. The same high level of adrenal hormones in present bodies will have the opposite effect on them. The first person will more intensely devote himself or herself to spiritual service; the other one with the same vigor will commit robbery and murder.

Besides that, we should remember that incarnation into bodies of different physical qualities is determined by God. Therefore, there is no “bad luck”, since God plans and carries out everything in such a way that the embodied soul is given the best opportunities for its further improvement.

One may ask: can maimed and ugly bodies help someone in self-development? The answer is yes. For example, if someone who in the past life reveled in power, was cruel towards others and maimed their bodies — it will be appropriate that such a person suffer himself or herself in order to realize what pain and suffering are, and through this learn compassion for others.

Concerning the incarnations of wicked people — villains are needed for ensuring the diversity of the life situations, so that we may better understand the psychology of each other. Their fate is further degradation to the very bottom, until some of them change and there, on the bottom, in their suffering, begin to search for the way out to the Light.

Now let us consider another factor affecting the development of children — their upbringing. It is the most relevant factor to analyze in spiritual schools working with children.

I remember one day I observed the following scene: a father — well dressed, arrogantly self-confident man of athletic build, of about 50 years old — was giving “life lessons” to his daughter of 10 years old. They stood in a park, and the father, pointing to the passing people, “explained” to the daughter about every one of them: this one is a scoundrel, that one is a bastard. The poor girl listened to him attentively and probably for many years learned father’s “lessons” of hatred. Only at the age of 20 many people (not everyone) manifest the ability to seriously re-evaluate everything that adults taught them earlier.

Dedicated education can be either very harmful or very helpful to children. They can be taught, for example, contemptuous disdain and hatred for everything or, on the contrary, they can be taught to love everything living, taught that love and harmony are good and that God wants us to become like this, etc.

The correct education of children is the most important factor of the spiritual help to people, the most worthy and interesting kind of spiritual service.

This is also a way of self-development in active love and intellectual creativity.

* * *

Let’s look once again at the main principles of spiritual education of children.

The first principle is active cultivation of the ideas of love (for this is the main thing that God wants from us!) followed by the principle of broadening children’s horizons. We must introduce into children’s memory different programs of the ways they can live having grown up. We have to show them that there are chess, temples of different religions, nature which we can and must love, there are methods of tempering the body, the possibility of expressing oneself through painting, music, dance, photography, different kinds of sports, and very interesting and different ways of getting education, and that all of this can be used for serving other people, as a way of giving them our love.

Education also can be given by an example of deeds of adults, when children in the relaxed atmosphere witness the events in the spiritual school where their parents study. Alternatively, it can be done by arranging special classes and sections for children of different ages.

At the same time, it is necessary to remember that there are problems inaccessible to children’s thinking. For example, the information about the existence of unembodied forms of life should be presented to them in such a form and in that volume which do not lead to formation of mystic fear. Mystic fear can become a basis for development of serious psychopathologies, which prevent a child’s development.

Also, one must not teach children profound meditative techniques, otherwise they may “get lost”, lose adequate contact with the material plane. We need to remember that everyone must develop themselves first in the material world, and only then they will be able to walk the serious religious Path successfully and safely.

It is also necessary to protect children in every possible way against attempts of different ignorant mystics to involve them into contacts with the beings of the astral plane under the guise of spiritualism, into a dialog with “extraterrestrials” and so on, as well as against attempts to engage children in magical and occult experiments. Participation of both children and adults in such actions is a direct way to development of serious mental pathologies in them.

It is also very important to teach children to think, provoking them to do it, for example, in such situations as solving the problem of crossing a forest brook, building a fire so that it does not cause much harm to living creatures, etc.

Or one can ask children questions like “why?” — so that they learn to find answers themselves rather than receive them from adults, and so on.

During communication of children between themselves in the group, the instructor should benevolently but firmly stop all manifestations of vicious tendencies, such as aggressiveness, propensity to take someone else’s things, even the most trifling. Children can remember well, for example, such formulas as: “Jesus Christ taught, that you shouldn’t do to anyone what you don’t want be done to yourself!”, or “The one who takes without permission anything that belongs to someone else is a thief. And a thief is a very bad person!”, or “In the very good book called the New Testament it is written: love each other tenderly with brotherly love! And what you have done — does it look like tenderness?”

Some simple meditative exercises can be of great educational value. For example, all children can imagine a little sun in the chest and then run around and shine at each other with visualized sunlight.

Spiritual Work with Children: Preface

November 17, 2015

Russian reality is characterized by the absence of understanding by people of the meaning of their lives. Neither the atheism, which prevailed in our country for several decades, nor distorted religious beliefs can reasonably explain — from the philosophical standpoint — why we are here and what we are here to do. This is why non-spiritual people including children get irrevocably engaged into alcoholism and other kinds of drug addiction, into crime, which become a habitual way of life for them. The experience proves that appeals to lead “a healthy way of life” cannot become a stable alternative for the masses if there is no answer to the main philosophical question — the question of the meaning of our lives on the Earth.

We have discussed this already in many publications [3,516,26,28,41], but to children, of course, it has to be presented in a simplified form using a language that corresponds to their level of understanding. It has to be done unobtrusively, without coercion*, as simply informing them — so that having grown up, they could remember and use it as a basis for their world view and for an understanding of their place and role both in the vast expanses of the multidimensional Absolute and among other people on the Earth.

Those who read this book may either directly apply the techniques described here or create their own modifications on this basis, but they must include in teaching the main theme — the theme of spiritual love: reverence to God, the theme of goodness, compassion, service to everyone in everything good, care for all creatures including people, animals, and plants. After all, we ourselves are consciousnesses incarnated in physical bodies; we abide in the endless universal Ocean of All-seeing and All-hearing Consciousness of God, Who is Love, Who will accept us forever in His Abode if we become Love as He is. The stories about Divine Teachers and about achievements of spiritual adepts will also remain forever in the children’s memory to be used as examples to follow [2425,27 and others].

Jesus Heals Now As Well

November 4, 2015

banner-jesus_christ

Jesus Christ healed people during His life in the body and He does the same now for worthy embodied people.

For this, one needs, first of all, to become worthy of His help and, secondly, to know the methods of healing suggested by Jesus.

To become worthy means to really fulfill the Teachings that God gave us through Jesus. One can acquaint oneself with these Teachings — in their most exhaustive form, in my opinion — with the help of the book The Original Teachings of Jesus Christ.

We can see the opposite approach by observing the example of endless parasitic panhandling of something from Jesus by some people. They repeat: “God, have mercy on us! God, have mercy on us! God, have mercy on us!” and “Give us, God! Give!…”. Not only incarnate people, but also the Representatives of the Creator suffer from such tediousness. People who live like this separate themselves from God and move away from Him by their own attitude and acts and, therefore, should not expect to receive His Gifts!

In other words, my suggestion is to study the Teachings of Jesus as thoroughly as possible and change one’s life so that it will turn into a service to God within one’s powers. Only then one can expect to become worthy of direct communication with Him and of receiving His healing help.

While doing this, we must remember that there is nothing impossible for God! That is why, if we do not see real improvement in the situation with our diseases, we then have to look for the cause in ourselves. It means that we should again search for our imperfections, analyze them, and correct them.

… There are different possibilities of direct mutual communication with Jesus. For example, one can do this inside His Mahadobles. However, there is another method for beginners, the simplest one.

You need to print a real portrait of Jesus that is created on the basis of His Shroud and that is improved and blessed to be spread among people by Sathya Sai Baba in order to help them.

Yes, Jesus is like this now as well. He embodies Divine Love, caresses and gives Bliss to those who deserve this, shows the next stages of the spiritual Path, and teaches how to merge with Him and with the Universal and Only One God!

The size of the portrait should not be less than A4. You can get it from a calendar or from the cover of the book about His Teachings from our website: http://spiritual-art.info.

It is convenient to glue the picture, for example, to a piece of cardboard so that you can put it on the wall or hold it in your hands close to your body.

Then, first of all, you need to establish — through the Face of Jesus — personal relations with Him based on the emotions of love. These emotions are born in the spiritual heart. If you never worked with your own spiritual heart, I advise you to bridge this gap immediately, because it is possible to really come closer to God, Who is Love (1 John 4:7-8), only on this basis!

If you are indeed worthy of real relations with Jesus, you will necessarily feel the established “communication channel” between Him and the anahata chakra in your chest.

Let us try to make the stream of the emotions of love flow, in turns, from us to Jesus and from Him to our bodies.

Let us kindle more and more our love for Him! Let us learn to love Him!

This emotional love should become stable, and then it will be possible to cautiously ask Jesus about healing, promising Him not to stray from the spiritual Path ever again.

If we see the positive attitude of Jesus towards us during the sequence of such meditations, we can start bringing His portrait to other parts of the body, and not only to the chest, specifically to our chakras and dantians.

I wish all of you success!

Agni Yoga: The Refinement of the Consciousness

October 27, 2015

The refinement of the consciousness with its gradual penetration into deeper and deeper layers of the multidimensional space is a way to Mergence with the Divine Consciousness.

However, the spiritual Path begins not with psychoenergetical work but with ethics.

The previously considered ethical principles are not a moral dogma. They contribute very directly to the correct development of the consciousnesses. They help one to gain the main qualities that are characteristic of God in the Aspects of the Creator, Holy Spirit, and Messiah. These qualities are Love, Wisdom, Power, and Subtlety.

We cultivate love in ourselves by caring about other incarnate beings, including plants, animals, different groups of people, and quite concrete people, by increasing our love for God up to the highest level, and through our self-sacrificial service to Him.

We develop wisdom by studying ourselves and other incarnate and non-incarnate beings, God. Gaining wisdom is not possible without service to God manifested as spiritual service to people. And cognition of God is realized by means of redirecting the inquiring mind and cordial love — to Him. One of the main features of wisdom is the creative ability developed in the process of service.

And the true power, which is initially attained in one’s earthly activity, is manifested on the highest stages of growth as the powerful and subtle consciousness.

… Thus one can see that the main principle of development of the Divine qualities in oneself is the refinement of the consciousness.

It begins with a refusal of coarse emotional states and cultivating subtle states in oneself. Only then can one use the psychoenergetical techniques of refinement.

So, it is for the purpose of preparing oneself to really serious esoteric work of self-development that one needs ethical self-correction, development of the ability to admire the beautiful and to attune to it, and the ability to be gentle, tender.

Let us now read some quotations:

“One should not be attached in thoughts to dark and oppressive memories, for they, like leeches, will suck one’s life-energy.

“One should forget about failures, for they happen in the life of everyone.

“Why drag along a needless tail of woes?” [4]

“Beauty: Cosmos establishes the Evolution on this formula!” [40:Infinity]

“It is one thing to reason abstractly about the distant worlds, and it is another thing to realize oneself as a participant there.

“Only they who have not closed for themselves the path to beauty can understand how near to them the distant worlds (eons) are!” [1]

“At first it is necessary to habituate oneself to the refinement of emotions, in order to saturate the spirit with the necessary attraction to the world of beauty. Thus the conventional conception of standards (of beautiful) will be replaced by the true understanding of beauty. … The refinement of emotions must be introduced into life.” [3]

“… We gave the basis for actions and works that are based on beauty!” [2]

“… Wonderful pearls of art can truly elevate and transform the spirit!” [2]

“… One should develop all thoughts leading to the refinement of the consciousness. Thus one can build a higher step (for oneself)!” [2]

“… Only with the force of devotion to the Teacher can one achieve the refinement of the consciousness!” [2]

“… The evolution of the spirit requires (its) refinement, which is essential for constructiveness.” [2]

“… Only subtle energies can be joined to the subtle; therefore, the straightest path is through the heart!” [3]

“The psychic energy differ in quality. Its refinement can impregnate the higher manifestations of the vital functions… In the process of refinement, the psychic energy passes through its stages.” [3]

Agni Yoga: The Heart

October 24, 2015

The entire path of the psychoenergetical development of man is based on the development of the spiritual heart, because the highest spiritual achievements are realized by the energy of the consciousness expanded from the anahata chakra.

“… The heart should be understood as the only link between the visible and invisible worlds. … Only the thread of the heart leads one to the Infinity.” [2]

“Mergence with the Highest can be realized only through the kindled fire of the heart!” [2]

“In order to link the chain of the worlds (of the multidimensional space), one has to pay special attention to the heart. Only thus can we stay within the boundaries of… the growth of the spirit (i.e. the correct quantitative growth of the consciousness).” [2]

The spiritual heart is an organ of an individual consciousness that produces the emotions of love.

Emotions are states of consciousness. They are born not in the brain but in special structures of the organism — in the chakras.

By entering the anahata chakra, the consciousness enters the state of cordial love.

God is Love, therefore Mergence with Him is possible only if man transforms into Love and develops stability and power in this state.

“The heart is the link connecting the worlds, and only the heart can respond to the Heart of the Lord and the entire Hierarchy!” [2]

“… A consciousness that does not comprehend this can only mumble great words, but cannot apply them to life, because only a heart saturated with the Greatness of the Hierarchy can understand the entire greatness of the Cosmic Law.” [2]

“It is correct to say that love is a guiding, creative principle. This means that love must be conscious, (rightly) aspiring, and self-denying. … The heart filled with love is able and valiant and will expand until it encompasses (God).” [2]

“The love of the feat is not austere for those aflame in heart, but it frightens those who love their weaknesses and those who waver, embracing the illusionary ‘I’.

“The creative fire of the heart does not wander, it resolutely ascends by the steps of the Hierarchy to the Highest Light.

“Love is a guiding, creative principle.” [2]

Agni Yoga is the Path of fiery cordial love for God. It is a realization of the ideas of Bhakti Yoga.

Yet, we have to understand that one cannot develop the capability for the cordial love only by appealing to it or by means of psychoenergetical methods alone. Love is the result of the complex development of strong souls. And in order to gain such love, we have to form ourselves through usual earthly activity, through special esoteric practices, and what is most important — through intellectual work on ethical correction of ourselves.

Agni Yoga: Divine Fire

October 16, 2015

In the book [4] it is said: “We exclaim: Fire, Fire! However, only few understand what Fire it is…”

Yes, the Highest Hierarchs manifest Themselves in the Creation in the form of Divine Flame, non-burning to the righteous.

They also can appear above the surface of the Earth in a giant anthropomorphic Fiery form towering to the sky.

They can enter the hearts of their devoted disciples igniting the Divine Fire in them.

Full submersion of the spiritual seeker as the consciousness into the Fire and Mergence with It results in the “burning away” of all unfavorable remnants of the karma. And “burning throughout” the body with this Fire results in its healing.

… Everything in the universe is regulated by the Law of attraction. It works not only in the material world but in the spiritual world as well. All souls that are in the process of their positive evolution move along the Path of refinement to the Highest Magnet — to the Consciousness of the Creator in His Abode — in the Infinity. This is the law of Evolution established by God. Therefore, it is better to follow it, to live in agreement with God. This law says that we are embodied on the Earth with the purpose of developing ourselves qualitatively and quantitatively, in particular, by refining (“transmuting”) the consciousness for the sake of moving to more and more subtle layers of the Creation, for the sake of enriching the Primordial Consciousness, the Creator with ourselves.

Those who willingly walk on this Path receive His help. Those who oppose, who attach themselves to the material, who defend their separateness by growing their arrogant and petty “I”, who cultivate coarseness for the sake of achieving success in worldly affairs — such people establish their separateness from God, renounce His Love, form bad karma for themselves, and go to hell.

Therefore, God suggests: “Let the consciousness expand towards the Focus” [2]. “… The center is occupied by the Hierarchy. From there all rays emanate…” [2]. Let us aspire to it!

Therefore, one should seek Shambhala not in the mountains, where some people believe it is, but… in the highest spatial dimension.

The information about how the Highest Hierarchs help us on this Path can be found in this book.

“How little does humanity relate the idea of responsibility to the concept of Shambhala, regarding it rather as a land ordained for rest! If people would realize that the Brothers of humanity bear all the burden of human consciousness! If people would realize that We carry the responsibility for all their intentions! If people would realize that the essence of Shambhala is the Source which creates a better step for humanity!…

“The comprehension of Our Image by humanity completely contradicts the reality!

“We serve the progress of humanity!” [2]

“It has never been said to rely upon the Lord. On the contrary, it was repeated: ‘Be imbued with the Lord!’ There is a great difference between timid and inactive reliance and imbuing the entire being with the Consciousness of the Lord. Like a powerful sword, the consciousness merged with the Lord destroys all obstacles! Doubt cannot arise if the flaming consciousness is kindled! There will be no fatigue if the Inexhaustible Source of Strength is accepted! Fear cannot enter the temple of impenetrable armor! Thus, I advise accepting My Shields not through resorting to a ‘saving’ protection but to achieve victory through Mergence of consciousnesses.” [2]

Warriors Who achieve Mergence with the Divine Fire in the Infinity become “Earthly Representatives of the Hierarchy” [2]. Through Them God explains His Will at the highest level of competence.

Agni Yoga: Psychoenergetical Work

October 12, 2015

Approaching Shambhala

“Shambhala is an essential place where the spiritual world unites with the material one.” [40:Leaves of Morya’s Garden. Illumination]

Shambhala is the place where abide the Hierarchs Who guide the life on the Earth. It can be found, among other places, in the center of the Earth’s structure [2], in the multidimensional depth. Shambhala is the Focus of the Main Magnet for all human souls that have to enter this highest, subtlest layer of the multidimensional space by undergoing “transmutation”. In Shambhala, spiritual adepts cognize the Baptism in the Divine Fire [3] and, having settled there, merge forever with the Primordial Consciousness.

One cognizes Shambhala by expanding the spiritual heart to such an extent that it encompasses all the subtlest worlds including the Fiery World of Shambhala. Further expansion of the heart allows one to fill with it the Infinity [2,3].

How can one begin walking the Path to God, to the Highest Hierarchs, to Shambhala?

First, one needs to perform ethical self-correction. It has to include a fiery aspiration to the Perfection and active service to the Evolution through service to people.

Second, one has to put in order the body and its energy structures, to gain health.

Both these points necessarily imply switching to killing-free nutrition: i.e. refusal of using bodies of killed animals for food [1]. This is important from the ethical standpoint, first of all. Without correct nutrition, one cannot gain stable health, cannot advance to God. (See more details on the correct nutrition in [6]).

Those capable then come to the next stages of the psychoenergetical work, which include meditations and development of the chakras. If this work is performed correctly, it results in gradual “transmutation” of the consciousness: in its refinement up to the state of the Divine Fire.

“… Humanity must become aware of its Fiery center of the Hierarchy, which guides people and imbues them with a powerful leading principle” [2].

One perceives the first contacts with God as a blessing coming from above [2]. This is also a manifestation of the Holy Spirit’s caring about us — His encouraging signs.

Then one has to learn not only to feel His Flows but also to merge with Him outside the body. This is realized first through the meditation Pranava [6]. By practicing such a Mergence, one undergoes gradual crystallization of the consciousness, i.e. direct growth of its volume and power.
